Candidate Forum for City Council
Wednesday, October 4th, 2023, 6:30pm at Community Arts Center (USO)
There are three City Council positions open in this election. There are a total of seven candidates including the two incumbents (Neil Anderson and Kevin Spears). The forum is sponsored by the Residents of Old Wilmington and the League of Women Voters. The event will be moderated by Jon Evans of WECT.
Member Meeting
Wednesday, October 11th, 2023, 6pm to 8pm at The Pilot House
Social hour: 6 -7 p.m.
Meeting: 7 - 8 p.m.
Speakers will include:
- Jessica Baldwin, Director of Historic Preservation for the City. She will update us the revisions to the HPC guidelines.
- Joan Keston will provide an update on some potential state legislation.
The 2023 Back-Door Kitchen Tour
