HPC Composition 2004

During the summer of 2004, the City Council directed the HPC to prepare a recommendation which would allow selection from a broader pool of applicants for positions on the HPC.

• A list of COA applications for new construction in the Central Business Distric Historic Distric Overlay (CBD/HDO) for the past 8 years.  This shows that of 18 applications 15 have been granted, 2 withdrawn, and 1 denied.  That result effectively rebuts the criticism heard from some Council members that the HPC hinders downtown development.
